Hi everyone! I am an almost 30-year-old mom of an almost 21-month-old, wife of a full-time employee and student husband who works from home in more ways than one. I have never had a blog before, but for the last few weeks it has been on my mind. I don't think I am anyone special compared to the rest of the world, but I feel like I have something to share; my experiences as a wife, mom and work from home employee. I am a medical transcriptionist as my "paying" job, but also take care of our little man and our home. Honestly, the home really is last on the list. I try to keep up with it, but some weeks that is all it is, a try. The whole situation is extremely trying and extremely rewarding. Every day when my husband comes home from work and/or school and I get to tell him all the stuff our little man did that day, I feel elated that I was there to witness it and sad that he wasn't at the same time. Unfortunately, these days he is gone more than he is home. Somehow, he still manages to make as much time for us as you could hope for. He is ridiculously stressed out between working full-time and going to school in the evening and online, but he is always excited to see and play with his son. That, to me, is the greatest joy to watch. Overall, my life is crazy and sometimes I wonder why I created this world, but then I remember how awesome it is. The smile on my son's face when he says mama soft and sweet and the sound of him rolling on the floor playing with his daddy. That's all I need to think of to make one more meal, fold one more load of laundry and sit at the computer for one more hour late at night to get my work done. Welcome to my world! I hope you enjoy the ride with me!
